- First start VMware Player (VMware Workstation).
- Create A New Virtual Machine
- Select the option “I will install the operating system later”.
- Once done, your new virtual machine will be added to your virtual library.
- Simply click on Edit Virtual Machine settings, select your media then Restart VM!

How to Disable Easy Install in VMware

A better way to disable easy install (even while letting VMWare give you recommended settings) is by letting vmware take the iso and optimize the V settings and then at the end uncheck "Run this V after Setup".
ReplyDeleteAfter the V setup is finished and the V appears on the main screen of the VMWare Player, click on edit virtual machine settings and click on the floppy drive and change it fro Use file to Detect Physical Drive
